EARNING PREMIER POINTS FOR PURCHASES MADE ON AEROMÉXICO FLIGHTS FOR CLUB PREMIER CORPORATE COMPANIES

Glossary

  • Accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points for completed flights– crediting Aeroméxico Rewards Points to the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Company for air travel reservations booked with Aeroméxico as soon as it completes the flight, that is, once the plane ticket is registered as flown by the corresponding airline Company.
  • Accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program – It means that Aeroméxico Rewards Points are obtained by the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Company, generated by the acquisition and / or use of the air transportation services with Aeroméxico by the employees of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Company. The accrual is applied to the Corporate Account of the Company that orders them, pursuant to the rules in force for accrual in these terms and conditions.
  • Affiliated Airline Companies – The Aeroméxico Rewards Business Companies can accrue Aeroméxico Rewards Points for the completed flights with any of the airline Companies affiliated to the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program. The accrual will be made in accordance with the policies of the airline Company that operates the flight, which are published on: https://business.aeromexicorewards.com/ing/earn/airlines?lang=en
  • Aeroméxico Tier – It refers to the tiers obtained by the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Company, based on its annual turnover with Aeroméxico and that can be granted to its collaborators, offering additional benefits on all their flights.
  • Surcharges – Taxes and charges determined by airports, countries, and other factors not always attributable to the airline Company.
  • Base Fare – Cost of the plane ticket imposed by the airline Company.
  • “Retroactive accrual”:  the retroactive accrual of flights with Aeroméxico is not applicable to the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program.

How to Earn Aeroméxico Rewards Points in Aeroméxico Rewards Business Accounts for expense in completed flights with Aeroméxico.

To request the accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points in Corporate Accounts for completed flights(flown) and operated by Aeroméxico, what is set forth below must be followed:

  1. The collaborator must provide his Aeroméxico Rewards individual Account and the number of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Account of the Company when he books one or more plane tickets sold and operated by Aeroméxico in travel agencies, Aeroméxico Flight Stores, Aeroméxico Booking Centers, Aeroméxico Rewards Telephone Attention Center, as well as in aeromexico.com or in aeromexicorewards.com at the following link: https://vuelaconpuntos.aeromexicorewards.com/

The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points will only be applicable if the collaborators of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Company make the flight as outlined by the plane ticket booked.

A copy of the plane ticket must be preserved for any clarification.

Number of Aeroméxico Rewards Points accrued by flights.

The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points by flights will be made based on the latest base fare bought and on the participating surcharges.

The base fare and surcharges do not consider taxes or any other charges.

Four (4) Aeroméxico Rewards Points will be accrued per dollar spent or its equivalent in local currency in domestic flights and six (6) Aeroméxico Rewards Points per dollar spent or its equivalent in local currency in international flights.

The exchange rate will be that in force on the date the plane ticket and travel complements are bought. It applies in the following way:

  • The exchange rate that will be used is that registered in the Aeroméxico booking system and in force on the date when the flight sale is processed. For calculation purposes of the accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points, the result will be rounded to the immediate superior dollar.
  • For cases when the sale was made in currencies different from U.S. dollars, for example, Mexican pesos or euros, the direct exchange rate to U.S. dollars used will be that registered in the booking system of the airline Company on the purchase date. In any case, the fare paid and the participating surcharges will be converted into U.S. dollars.
  • The tickets with prefix 139 sold and operated by Aeroméxico apply to accrual per dollar spent. The tickets sold by Aeroméxico are identified with the prefix 139 in the ticket number (for example, 1391233467891).
  • The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points by flights is reflected up to ten (10) days after the flight completion, as long as it was made.
  • In the potential case that the base fare and the participating surcharge cannot be turned into U.S. dollars and ten (10) days have elapsed from the accrual request, the flight accrual will be made based on the distance / cabin / fare paid.
  • The flights flown with Aeroméxico before January 1, 2022 will accrue Aeroméxico Rewards Points based on the distance/ cabin / class paid / domestic or international origin and destination.
  • The flights with airline Companies affiliated to Aeroméxico Rewards Business will accrue according to the policies of the airline Company that operates the flight, which are published on https://business.aeromexicorewards.com/ing/earn/airlines?lang=en
  • The flights sold by other airline Companies with Aeroméxico code are eligible to accrual, based on the rules of each airline Company by distance / cabin / class flown.

The tickets sold by other airline Companies are identified because they have a prefix different from 139 in the ticket number (for example: the ticket with number 0061233467891 is a ticket sold by Delta).

The flight codes are identified by two letters ahead of the flight number (for example, AM0431, for an Aeroméxico flight or DL0653 for a Delta flight).

The tickets sold by other airline Companies of flights with a different code from Aeroméxico will accrue Points according to the policies of the airline Company that operates the flight, which are published on www.business.aeromexicorewards.com.

Exceptions for accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points for flight expenses with Aeroméxico

The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points does not apply in the following cases:

  • Completed flights on a date prior to the enrollment of the Company in the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program.
  • When the format of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Account is not the format established.
  • Classic Award Tickets of the Aeroméxico Rewards program.
  • Dynamic Award Tickets of the Aeroméxico Rewards program.
  • Tickets with group or charter fares,
  • Proofs of free transportation (tickets in class “G”).
  • Tickets issued for Aeroméxico employees with passes and discounts (including applicable classes: P-V or any other assigned)
  • Completed flights with airline Companies not affiliated to the Program, except when a shared code program exists previously with the airline Company.
  • Flights cancelled or that were not boarded.
  • When the flight has been accrued in another frequent traveler program different from Aeroméxico Rewards Business.
  • The surcharges “YR”
  • Private fares with special price distributed by travel agencies (“Bulk” fares)
  • The accrual will not be applied to Companies that have entered into a discount agreement with the airline Companies affiliated to the Corporate program.

TABLE OF PREMIER POINTS ACCRUAL BY DISTANCE FOR COMPLETED FLIGHTS WITH AEROMÉXICO. 

The Aeroméxico Rewards Business Companies can accrue Aeroméxico Rewards Points for their completed flights with Aeroméxico in the accrual model by distance in the following cases:

  • In the potential case that the base fare and the participating surcharge for a flight made with Aeroméxico cannot be converted into U.S. dollars and ten (10) days have elapsed from the accrual request in the accrual model for expense in flights with Aeroméxico.
  • In the event of having a private fare with special price distributed by travel agencies (“Bulk” fares).

The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points will occur automatically as long as the Company has provided its Aeroméxico Rewards Business Account number (OSI, Corporate Account identifying number) when the flights are booked.

The base Aeroméxico Rewards Points accruable represent the actual distance between the pair of cities or a minimum of five hundred (500) Aeroméxico Rewards Points (whatever is higher), adjusted by the accrual percentage, in accordance with the class fare paid as is shown in the following table and the accrual percentage in accordance with the rules established in the Corporate Program:

Restrictions:

  • The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points will be based on the last participating fare bought. It does not apply to upgrades.
  • The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points occurs until 10 (ten) days after the flight is completed, as long as it was made.
  • The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points does not apply in the following cases:
  • Accruals of completed flights prior to the enrollment date in the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program.
  • Award Tickets of the Aeroméxico Rewards Program.
  • Tickets with group or charter fares.
  • Proofs of free transportation (tickets in class “G”).
  • Tickets paid with net fares.
  • Completed flights with Companies not affiliated to the Program, except when a shared code program exists previously with the airline Company.
  • Flights cancelled or that were not boarded.
  • When the flight has been accrued in another frequent traveler program different from Aeroméxico Rewards Business.
  • When the points / kilometers / miles have been accrued in another frequent traveler program different from Aeroméxico Rewards Business (SkyBonus, Bluebiz, etc.).
  • If the flight was not boarded, was not flown, or was marked as “No Show”.
  • The accrual of Aeroméxico Rewards Points of tickets of infants or minors is not applicable to Corporate Accounts.

FRAUD

PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V. reserves the right to carry out the actions it deems convenient to suspend automatically, temporarily or cancel definitely any Company enrolled in Aeroméxico Rewards Business if it detects fraud, fraudulent behaviors, and / or bad practices by the Partners and / or Companies in the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Accounts, and for default to the Terms and Conditions of the Programs or if it considers it is for its best interests.

The temporary suspension will result in the disabling of the Corporate Account while the investigation is made for irregular movements of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Account. The period will depend on each particular case. Therefore, during that period, the representative and / or Authorized Contacts cannot redeem the Aeroméxico Rewards Points of the Corporate Account and all the benefits as a Company enrolled in the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program.

GENERAL INFORMATION

By enrolling to the program, the Companies abide by, accept, and are obliged to comply with the terms, standards, conditions, and policies in force of the program, which are included in this document or in the subsequent versions issued by Aeroméxico Rewards Business (PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V.).

Under protest to tell the truth, the Company enrolled in the program states that all the data provided about its profile is accurate, correct, and current. For this reason, Aeroméxico Rewards Business as assumes that the tax address provided will be considered its place of residence for all the ensuing legal effects.

PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V. will be the only entity authorized to solve any issue related to Aeroméxico Rewards Business, reserving the right to enforce and construe these Terms and Conditions and their scope, and to solve at its full and free will any situation not considered therein.

PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V. is the manager of the Aeroméxico Rewards Business program. Therefore, it does not assume any liability about the benefits, promotions, products, and / or services offered by the Affiliated Partners, or about its suspension or changes they could make.

Aeroméxico Rewards will bear no liability if it cannot comply with these terms and conditions derived from force majeure or an act of God or from changes in the law or from any other reasons beyond its control.

Personal data

Any treatment of personal data made by Aeroméxico Rewards Business, as well as the exercise of the ARCO rights by the Aeroméxico Rewards Business Companies, will be made in accordance with the applicable law and regulation in the United Mexican States, as well as in compliance with what is set forth in the Aeroméxico Rewards privacy notice, which you accepted before your enrollment in Aeroméxico Rewards Business (to consult the Privacy Notice, please go to https://business.aeromexicorewards.com/).

In accordance with what is stated in the Federal Law on Prevention and Identification of Transactions with Resources of Illicit Origin and derived from certain activities performed by the Partners that are considered by the law as vulnerable activities, Aeroméxico Rewards will share your personal data with the corresponding authorities.

The information derived from the notices submitted before the competent authorities will be used exclusively for the prevention, identification, investigation, and sanction of transactions with resources of illicit origin and other crimes related thereto. The afore-mentioned personal data will be maintained fully protected, in terms of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States.

Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, their construction or compliance, will be governed by the law and by the jurisdiction of the Federal Consumer Protection Law, waiving as of this time any other jurisdiction that could correspond to them for reason of their current or future domicile.
